Event Overview

The 2020 Kinsmen Ride for a Lifetime, benefiting Kids Cancer Care Foundation of Alberta, is a motorcycle fundraising event that shouldn't be missed!

The Ride starts Friday morning shortly after a hearty breakfast. This is a chance to meet and greet your fellow Riders, a short safety speech from our Ride Leaders, and a presentation from a KCCFA SpokesKid. A quick safety overview of your bike will be performed by professional mechanics prior to departure (tire wear & pressure, brake pads wear, lights), to make sure your bike is safe and roadworthy.

The 2020 route will take us through Cochrane, Canmore, Banff on the scenic Hwy 1A and 1, then South on Hwy 93, where we'll cruise our way through some of the most picturesque roads that Alberta and BC have to offer. We will then head west towards Golden and hit our final destination: the Sutton Place Hotel. Located at the base of the mountain in Revelstoke BC, we will spend one glorious night, and enjoy some surprises upon arrival! ETA: mid to late afternoon.

Saturday morning at 8am, our first group will head west towards Sicamous, then south towards Vernon. Following the path of Canadian Geese, we will be treated to a gourmet lunch. Once our bellies are full, we will head south through some of the best mountain roads in North America, before arriving at the Prestige Lakeside Resort in Nelson BC, where we will partake in a lavish banquet Saturday evening, with Live Entertainment in conjunction with Silent and Live Auctions.

On Sunday morning, we supply you with a hot breakfast, a full tank of fuel and a gas card to get you home. You can travel back to Calgary with your Ride Leaders, or you can make your way home at your own leisure.

During the entire trip we will supply first-rate fun, snacks, entertainment and roadside support to make it a weekend to remember. We also have a support vehicle and trailer with additional motorcycles, in case someone experiences a breakdown. We pump your gas for you, and provide experienced Ride Leaders to get you safely to our daily stops.

This is a ride for experienced bikers on scenic mountain roads that require solid group riding skills. We will travel an average of 400-500 kms per day, with many pit stops along the way. If this sounds like a biker trip you would like to be a part of, sign up today and help us support the Kids Cancer Care Foundation of Alberta by participating in this unique Ride!
